IBDirect is looking for experienced futures brokers with high ethics who are interested in setting up their own branch office. Because of our nearly 8 years experience as an Introducing Broker, IBDirect has the resources to quickly and professionally set you up and cover all the issues that are required. This program offers a wide array of services that allows the broker to focus on his/her clients, rather than being involved with all the daily requirements of running an Introducing Brokerage firm.
Probably one of the biggest benefits to operating as a branch office of IBDirect is the EXTREMELY low clearing rates that we offer. This allows a relatively small firm, to remain competitive in the field of discount online futures brokerage services. We can do this because of the large amount of volume that we generate.

One of the most important aspects of any online business is a well-designed web site. IBDirect has a strong background in online futures services, and will work with you and our developers in designing and deploying a professional website that is right for you. We understand through experience that a sharp, attractive, appealing web presence is the key to acquiring new clients.
However, a professional website is one thing, getting potential clients to discover it is another. The next phase of the process is for us to setup and manage an online pay per click advertising campaign. IBDirect has a strong understanding of online advertising and has applied it extensively in expanding its book. As this is a critical step in driving traffic to your site, our experience will be indispensable in building your client base.
One of the biggest challenges in any brokerage firm is the compliance issues. As a branch office of IBDirect we solve that for you. Our compliance department will monitor your clients and accounts to make sure that all NFA and CFTC rules and guidelines are followed. This is an important service as it allows you to focus on your clients and not government policies. Also of note is the fact that you can forward calls to our office, which allows you to take vacation days without having to inform all your clients beforehand.
In order to better service your clients, IBDirect will also provide you with CRM software to organize your client’s information, pc monitoring software, and call recording software in order to manage your client database according to NFA guidelines. Again this provides you with more time to attend to your clients needs.
Payout:
Income is important and it is IBDirect’s belief that “Your Success Is Our Success!” That is why we have a very generous revenue sharing program. As compensation you will receive 80% of gross revenue on monthly commission up to $30,000. Commissions are generated from your trade recommendations AND your online self-directed traders that will be utilizing IBDirect's RazorTrader trading platform. If and when you exceed $30,000 in any given month you will be paid 85% on total commissions for the entire month. Our contract will also include you a buyout option of 5% of your book value in the case you decide to go off on your own.
What You Need:
The following items would be required in fulfilling your contract with IBDirect:
- $5,000 Security Deposit
- $6,000 Startup Fee
- New PC with Scanner
- Printer
- High Speed Internet
- Series 3
- Series 30 “Only if you are located off main office premises”
The need for a security deposit is to ensure that if any of your clients turns to a negative balance there will be funds to cover it. The deposit will be maintained in a separate savings account and would be returned if you decide to leave us. The $6,000 startup fee is to pay the cost of your website, Onsite Office Setup and Training, and you’re first two months advertising budget. After that you are responsible for the costs, and can decide on what you want to budget for your advertising. You will also be charged an $85.00 monthly audit fee, and a $10 per account opening fee. If you decide to own your own branch at our main office location there will be a $500 a month desk fee.
